BookBot AI, operated by BOOKBOT AI LLC, provides an AI phone receptionist that answers calls and books appointments on behalf of local service businesses (for example HVAC, plumbing, electrical, salons, and similar). This policy explains our text (SMS) messaging program, how consumers consent to receive messages, and how to opt out.

Who receives messages

Text messages are sent to consumers who contact a participating business and book an appointment. We do not send unsolicited or marketing text messages, and we do not purchase or rent phone number lists.

How consumers opt in (consent)

Consent to receive text messages is obtained directly from the consumer through one of the following methods:

By phone (verbal opt-in): When a consumer calls a participating business's phone line and books an appointment, they provide their own mobile number and agree, during the call, to receive a one-time text confirmation and related reminders for that appointment.
Online booking / forms: When a consumer books or provides their number through a participating business's online booking flow, they check a consent box agreeing to receive appointment text messages.

Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving service. A consumer can decline text messages and still book an appointment.

Types of messages

Messages are transactional and specific to the consumer's own appointment, including appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, and reschedule / cancellation updates and service status.

Message frequency & rates

Message frequency varies based on the consumer's appointments (typically a confirmation plus reminders). Message and data rates may apply.

How to opt out or get help

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time. You will receive one confirmation of your opt-out and no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below.
